Iriscope - Analysis Systems FAQ

Specialty Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System FAQ

Question:  What involves the 'CNRI' Specialty Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System?

The CNRI Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System is an exact replica of the technology that CNRI uses for 'iridodiagnostic research and development'. This includes automatic analysis of the eye using 'specialized' software and training modules. This system offers a fully pre-configured laptop system with or without iriscope and/or iridology course modules.

Question: Can I only purchase Iridology analysis programs without laptop?

No. The Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System is only available from CNRI.EDU as pre-configured laptop systems. At this time, there are too many support issues involving many different kinds of operating systems, laptop and PC types. CNRI.EDU uses one specific laptop to create an on-going standard for the Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System. CNRI has an unlimited supply of these laptops and replacing or getting parts is never a problem.

Question: What if my system from CNRI.EDU becomes unstable?

The systems come with a backup system DVD in the event of any operating system failure. The backup DVD will re-create 100% working pre-installed system.

Question: Are these laptops new?

The laptops are not new but are 'like new'. New hard-drives and memory upgrades are included for each system.

Question: I live in a country were Customs are corrupt or change insanely high duty fees. Is there any possibility that I can purchase the same laptop from my country and install the Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System?

Yes. The particular laptops we use can be found in virtually every country since this model was very popular in several large corporations and can be purchased in great shape for around 200.00 - 300.00 USD. We would then have you verify the model number and send you a boot disk to install the Clinical IridoDiagnostic Research System. Please keep in mind that the boot disk will over-write any older system files or operating systems. The operating system used for laptop is Windows XP Professional and is fully legitimate OEM copy for the particular laptop only. The boot disk will not work on any other laptop or PC not supported by CNRI.EDU. The cost of the boot disk without laptop is 995.00 USD and must be made under special request.

Iriscope FAQ

Question: Do all iriscopes come with primary 30X adaptor only? Are there other adaptors for purchase?

All iriscopes come with primary 30X iris adaptor only. The iris lens adaptor is 30X magnification with a dual LED lightsource built inside the adaptor which offers the most consistancy in iris photography.

Other magnification adaptors are available at 50X and 650X. The 30X can be adjusted to focus to 1-3X , so the Iriscope can take client's facial photo to optionally apply to iris analysis report. The the 50x and 650x adaptors are used for the hair and skin only.

Question: Do the iriscopes have connectivity-adaptability for macintosh computer?

Yes, but only with the newer versions of MAC OS systems that have the Intel Chip processor. Older versions of MAC systems would require emulator software such as Virtual PC which does take some technical expertise to install software and drivers.

Question: Do iriscope systems come with any basic software? If offered, what can the user do with software?

Iriscopes come with a basic iris analysis software. This software can help you save the clients information and iris image to analysis report which can then be printed. Software allows re-editing of analysis if required. There is no automatic analysis features offered in the software. This software can be downloaded from CNRI.EDU download section.

The CADI Analysis software does offer iris topography charting capabilities although still in Beta testing.

CNRI also offers very sophisticated iris analysis systems to health professionals but are not included in any basic iriscope order.
