Luenne Angela CHOA is currently running her public affairs, public policy research consultancy as well as consulting on public relations projects for That Marketing Guy, a marketing communications firm specializing in outreach, design communications and social media campaigns targeting SMES.
Being one of the first few users of Facebook in 2005, she has seen the transition and transformation of the platform to what it is today. She is not only familiar with the medium, but she was one of the first to speak about the dangers and pitfalls of the medium.
Luenne is able to combine and adapt her experience of mainstream media communications with social media. Over her 15 years as a communications specialist, she worked with the Delegation of the European Union to Singapore, the Supreme Court and the Nanyang Technological University in various marketing communications role and sat on planning committees for crisis and incidence management situations. She was behind the recent viral campaign for the late Mr Nathan that went viral on Facebook.
Luenne has a MA in Asian Studies from the University of Melbourne and written op-eds and pieces for Straits Times (Recruit Section), Business Times SME Section and even for the academic journal Asian Survey, published by UC Berkeley.
